What They’re Saying is a blog about the emerging new marketing model made possible by social media (aka user-generated content). My social media street cred comes from being Director of Marketing for Techrigy Inc., developers of SM2, the best in class social media monitoring, analysis and engagement engine. In that role I conducted all the company’s marketing via social media, using blogs, social networks, Twitter, commenting systems and SM2 to generate thousands of leads, to quadruple traffic to their websites and to build brand awareness from zero to becoming widely recognized as one of the leading brands in the social monitoring space.

The point of this is that social media marketing is the real deal: cost effective, extremely targeted and entirely measurable. These are things I’m writing about here.
